Amongst beautifully crafted floats, live bands and DJs, the parade is ordered chronologically honoring the history of dance from ancient to contemporary.
After gathering near the Massachusetts State House the Parade will kick off at 1pm. Then we will boogie our way down Park Street, turn right on Tremont Street and right again on to Boylston Street and go a straight shot to Copley Street. The entire route is 1.2miles.
We will drum up some African beats, shine like only the Korean, Bolivians and multiple ethnic cultures can and samba our way on to Tremont Street following along the Boston Commons. We’ll make a right on to Boylston Street and Salsa, Tango and Waltz West past the Boston Gardens and hula, stilt and break dance on our way to Copley Square–At the festival in Copley Square we will come together and celebrate watching free dance performances and be able to take free dance lessons.
